Leadership for Kids
Reading, writing, math, history, and science are some of the required subjects mandated by the state, but what’s missing? What else can we teach our children to help them navigate their social surroundings? What habits can we instill in them today that will help them excel tomorrow’sworkforce? Leadership skills can help shape the way children see the world and interact with others. The session will be focused on building a leadership curriculum for pre-school and elementary-aged children. The session will explain the process of creating lessons and activities focusing on time management, integrity, having a positive attitude, handling failure, and the definition of leadership. Participants should learn: • The importance of incorporating leadership in learning. • How to build your own leadership curriculum. Drop off for children 7-10. Limited to 20 children.

Dauv’s Biography

Dr. Evans is the Founder and Chief Success Officer (CSO) of Keen Advisors, LLC. Keen specializes in personal and professional development. His background is in higher education and corporate training. He earned a Ph.D. in Leadership in Higher Education from Capella University. He also holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Along with running his speaking and consulting business, he teaches undergraduate business and U.S History. Dauv enjoys traveling around the country sharing his story to help others become better at life. He wants others to be successful with understanding the “how” by finding the opportunities in the “now”.
