About SEA Books & More

Several years ago, we had a vision at SEA Homeschoolers to build an online store that sold materials that are honestly and exclusively secular. We saw this endeavor as an important way to support and maintain a vibrant secular homeschool community. We felt that if we could build a site where people knew they could trust the resources and recommendations, it would lead to the development of more materials to better reflect the diversity of learners and learning in the secular eclectic homeschool community.

We also want to help publishers, curriculum developers, and educators who are hard at work developing secular materials. Places like Amazon are great, but when you are not a best seller, they do nothing to help you market your materials. Developing and marketing materials is time consuming and expensive. If we are going to have new ideas and materials for our community, there needs to be a place where publishers, curriculum developers, and educators can share their new products and services. We are hoping that SEA Books & More can become that place.
