Marine Science is an 18-chapter, one-semester science course designed for middle-grade learners in grades 4–7. Focused on oceanography and marine biology, this course delivers an integrated, immersive approach to learning science—connecting essential concepts in geology, chemistry, physics, and biology through the lens of the ocean. It aligns with key Next Generation Science Standards and incorporates Common Core-aligned practices in both math and language arts.

Each chapter features color photographs, illustrations, and videos, over 90 of which were developed specifically for this course to bring important topics to life.
