The Science of Climate Change: A Hands-On Course focuses on the science concepts needed to understand why the climate is changing at this time, how humans are responsible, and what can be done to slow or stop the global warming that is causing climate change. Science is most effectively learned when there is a careful pairing of information with an application of that information. For that reason, this illustrated course has eighteen activities woven through it. This course is intended for use with grades ranging from late grade school to early high school. However, as one 12-year-old reviewer said, “There really is no upper age limit, if you do not know this material.”   Check out The Science of Climate Change: A Hands-On Course at the CHN Family Expo September 7 – 10 in Garden Grove, CA.

SEA Homeschoolers Online Conference Is Going On Now!

We have new talks going up each day October 9 through the 15nd.

The talks are on a range of topics given by experts from across the homeschool community. These talks will a permanent feature on our website and Youtube channel, if you miss one or all of them. All but one of these talks is pre-recorded. However, each day we will be giving away prizes to people who watch and comment, on that day. We really hope this encourages people to leave questions for the speakers. All of whom are happy to answer them.
Check Out the Talks Here!

Secular, Eclectic, Academic

No matter the methodology, it’s about what works best for your child to help them have a relationship with knowledge that is meaningful and deep.
