Blair Lee M.S
Founder of SEA Homeschoolers & Author, TEACHER SEA ONLINE CLASSES
Blair Lee earned Bachelor degrees in Biology and Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of California San Diego. Blair is the author of 14 books including The Science of Climate Change: A Hands-On Course and Project-Based Learning: Creating a Modern Education of Curiosity, Innovation, and Impact which she co-authored with Samantha Cook. Blair is the primary author for the critically acclaimed REAL Science Odyssey Series, that The Well-Trained Mind has rated four years in a row as one of the top three science programs for first through eighth grades. She has been involved in science education for over two decades, first as a college professor and secondly as a curriculum developer. Over the past six years, she has broadened her scope and done extensive consulting as well as multi-discipline program development for written course materials and more recently for live and taped online classes. Blair writes concept-rich, hands-on courses. She is a passionate advocate of innovative academics where the focus is on how subjects are best learned. Through her speaking, writing, and consulting, her goal is to empower educators to dare to be innovative and create something unique and academically-rich when handcrafting their students’ education. Chief Operating Officer
Kat Hutcheson earned her B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Developmental Psychology specializing in both Birth through Age Five Cognitive Development and Child and Adolescent Behavioral Counseling from the University of South Florida. Kat is a well-known speaker and community leader. She works as a consultant helping parents create developmentally appropriate and academically-rich educational programs for young learners with a focus on neuro-diverse and gifted students with high academic needs. Kat has worked as the lead curriculum evaluator for the largest homeschool Charter School in California. She has looked at 10’s of thousands of pieces of curricular material and programs and has become a leading expert at vetting and reviewing curriculum and educational resources. As the COO of Secular, Eclectic, Academic (SEA) Homeschoolers she is responsible for organizing and implementing community outreach endeavors and building relationships with companies and individuals creating high-quality curricula and resources.
Samantha Matalone Cook

Samantha Matalone Cook, MAT, has almost three decades of experience in education, program development, and the arts and has worked with both small and large organizations to create educational programming that centers and connects the learner to concepts and skills. She has taught in classrooms and in private workshops, mentored other educators, and worked for and with many museums including the Smithsonian. Samantha has two teens and one preteen, all home educated. Sydney MIller Milbert is a homeschooling mom of two, living about an hour outside of Washington, DC. She is the founder of NICE Circle, a secular, inclusive homeschooling co-op and a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides opportunities for homeschool families to join clubs, attend fields trips, and participate in community service.
