Elena Marre is the founder of The Kids’ Table, a Chicago-based cooking school that transforms healthy cooking and eating into a hands-on adventure for all ages – from tots to teens and beyond. Elena is passionate about inspiring kids and families to get into the kitchen, because cooking is fun, empowering, a great source of connection, and a valuable life skill. “Real food” also happens to be really good! With over 13 years of experience engaging and educating kids around food, Elena has spoken frequently on the subject at schools, parent organizations, and educator conferences in the Midwest. Elena is a self-trained chef, a mom to two boys (well, now young men at 18 & 21), a recovering attorney, avid meditator and runner, and budding gardener.
